A media-rich web platform engineered for Komune Film, a film community based in Padang, West Sumatra. Built from scratch to showcase cinematic works, community journals, and project archives through a balanced design framework and high-performance delivery.

Key Features & Architecture

  • Performance-First Showcase: Built on top of the Astro framework, utilizing lightweight CSS-only scroll-driven animations and a clean visual layout tuned for media consumption.
  • Internationalization (i18n): Built-in multi-language support (English & Indonesian) for wider audience accessibility.
  • Edge Data Persistence: Leveraged Cloudflare D1 (SQLite) as a lightweight serverless database on the edge, coupled with Resend API for automated notification workflows.
  • Low-Latency Media Delivery: Deployed globally on Cloudflare’s edge infrastructure. Utilized Cloudflare R2 Object Storage alongside dynamic Image Transformation to deliver high-resolution video and visual assets with minimal latency.
